I am guessing some of it has to do with climate So I emailed Tonic and an engineer there gave me this helpful feedback From customer feedback and social media we had been made aware that some of the Jewel Drops that were initially supplied were cracking in certain circumstances we made adjustments to the product formulation to rectify this we have not received complaints about the Crystal Drops showing similar issues. The adjustment made was to reduce the shrinkage of the product as it went through the drying process this effectively reduced the potential of the drops to crack we implemented this change at the end of 2. Due to the formulation of Jewel Drops it is best to ensure that the drop made is fully dry before flexing the product the product goes through 2 stages. Stage 1 feels dry to the touch but is still brittle if flexed, and. Stage 2 is fully dried and can be flexed without cracking we suggest that this is 4. Crystal DropsWe do however recommend the following on all drops 1 To keep the size of the drops to a maximum of 12 inch diameter.
